What is WPM?
Words per minute (WPM) is the standard measure of typing speed. One "word" is defined as five characters - so typing 250 characters in one minute equals 50 WPM. <strong class="text-zinc-800 dark:text-zinc-200">Net WPM</strong> subtracts uncorrected errors; <strong class="text-zinc-800 dark:text-zinc-200">gross WPM</strong> counts all keystrokes.
