Every symbol is a shifted number key. Use the opposite Shift from the number — hold Shift first, press the number, then release both before the next key.
Right Shift (numbers 1–5, left hand):
1 → ! 2 → @ 3 → # 4 → $ 5 → %
Left Shift (numbers 6–0, right hand):
6 → ^ 7 → & 8 → * 9 → ( 0 → )
