Spanish Typing Patterns
Spanish uses the same standard QWERTY layout as English, but the language has distinct phoneme patterns that mean different fingers carry different loads. Spanish uses more vowel clusters and common endings like -cion, -mente, -ando that create predictable bigram sequences.
This drill uses accent-free Spanish words to focus purely on speed and rhythm, without needing dedicated accent key combinations.
Common Spanish Patterns
-cion Equivalent of English -tion
-mente Adverb suffix (like English -ly)
con-/en- Very frequent word prefixes
qu- Frequent bigram (que, quien, cuando)
